THERESA IS A MOTHER
She is having a had time of it. Thursting for fame yet trying to raise a family. The gigs are getting worse and moving back in the her parents is a last ditch effort to keep her head above water.
This film was shot on RED and that makes for a fun time in the color suite. The raw format really give some room to push things around before they break. Having an amazing cast is also a plus. Such great work by everyone.
Theresa Is A Mother
Is a true indie darling. Written by C Fraser Press who also stars as Theresa and co-directs with her husband Darren Press. This film also stars their kids, Schuyler, Maeve and Amaya. All of whom have gone on to bigger acting gigs for tv and film.
I worked both as editor and colorist on this film. Actually this was my first foray into the world of color correction. Shot on a RED ONE MX, I still think it is a great looking camera and is easier to work with than many cameras being used today.
Color correction for narrative film can be so rewarding. I enjoy taking a film to the next level visually. That in turn raises all boats. DaVinci Resolve Studio was used here at Massive Clouds for color correction of this wonderful narrative film.
