BISHOP ALLEN – MUSIC VIDEO

EDIT & COLOR CORRECTION

WHY I HAD TO GO

Sometimes things just come together.  I was talking with Bishop Allen front man Justin Rice at a party.  He said he wanted to work together on a music video for the new record.  that sounded right up my ally.

One of the things that made this project really fun was to be able to shoot across the street at bsp.   The room has a great vide and is a great space.

Why I Had To Go

Bishop Allen Why I Had TO Go Music Video.  Color correction for music videos is such a blast.  I really enjoy getting new looks going and playing around with different approches to color correction in DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.  Edit and color correction done here at Massive Clouds.
A super catchy tune from the new record.  Bishop Allen is on to something.  With tinges of 80’s pop but with a modern spin.  The album is chock a block with ear candy.

Justin and I worked closly together on the project.  We shot on a RED to get the slow-mo effect in camera.  It looks way better that way.  It also makes for longer takes.  In the end we had over 12 hours of footage for the one music video.  Worth it.
